Role Summary
As Product Owner for the Almond Credit product, you will be bringing product goals to life by managing the product backlog. You’ll work closely with our in-house and contractor engineers to build a credit scoring platform that reflects the needs of our customers. You’ll take ownership of the implementation of new features, changes to existing features and bug fixes, and for ensuring the team can attain desired outcomes. Additionally, you’ll be working closely with customers to represent their needs internally and communicate any product updates to them
Responsibilities
- Set the priorities for the development team and own the delivery
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize all requirements
- Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development
- Act as a communication link between the customer and the development team; listen to customers and turn their problems and complaints into user stories that create actionable items
- Work closely with the product lead and external partners to understand product requirements
- Liaise with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
- Lead the step-by-step product development process to execution, meeting pilot deadlines
- Contribute ideas for product development informed by customer conversations and feedback
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product management
- Experience developing a SaaS product a must
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Ability to cross-functionally collaborate across product and engineering departments
- Proven track record creating user-centric designs
- Ability to manage relationships with external clients
- Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and interpersonal and ability to effectively communicate across multiple geographies
- Experience with data analytics and visualization preferred
- Subject matter expert on offerings and associated markets – experience working in alternative credit scoring a huge plus
- Familiarity with machine learning is a plus
- Remote; APAC region preferred
