Adam holds advanced degrees in economics, policy, and technological innovation from MIT, Harvard, and Brown. Before co-founding Almond, Adam held strategy and operations management positions in corporate, governmental, and nongovernmental organizations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

As co-founder and CTO with an MBA from MIT and a Masters in Engineering from Johns Hopkins, Yunus brings a decade of experience in translational research, academia and tech startups across multiple industries. He is driven by democratizing access to resources through using scientific innovation and social understanding. Yunus holds over a dozen peer reviewed articles and patents across various fields.

Hayden has an extensive history in financial leadership, with proven success in ensuring financial health and strategic alignment in the Fintech, M&A and home health care sectors.

Howard is a results-driven marketer who brings over two decades of brand management and strategy experience to the firm’s digital marketing, on-campaigns, PR, and ancillary outreach.

Jeff’s compliance journey began as a Nuclear Reactor Operator in the US Navy, which helped to instill a rigorous adherence to regulations throughout his decade-long rise through compliance operations.

Mohammad has served as a legal scholar, Byse Fellow, Assistant Professor, and consultant for multiple esteemed institutions, including the African Union. He holds an MPA/ID from Harvard Kennedy School, LL.M. and S.J.D. degrees from Harvard Law School, and law and economics degrees from the Universities of Cairo and Alexandria in Egypt.

With over a decade of HR experience, Betania is a dedicated, empathetic, and human-centered Human Resources Director who specializes in scaling and enhancing organizational capabilities through talent management and innovative HR strategies.

With nearly two decades in the Fintech industry, Darren holds a track record of successfully building early-stage money movement businesses, scaling operations for high-growth payment products, and leading transformation of legacy operating models. Prior to joining Almond, Darren has worked at several cross border payments companies including Visa, XE.com, Ria Money Transfer, and Western Union.
