Crypto Treasury Associate - Cross-border Payments

Role Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Crypto Treasury Associate with deep cross- border payments experience and crypto currency knowledge to join our growing team. You will be responsible for processing, maintaining, and tracking our cross-border payment flows, ensuring successful facilitation of our payment process and reporting on said process.

As the first Crypto Treasury Associate, you will have a unique opportunity to help craft the function and design the controls/management of our process. You will work closely with our CFO and the product, strategy, and compliance teams to ensure seamless money movement across the world. The ideal candidate will have proven cryptocurrency knowledge as well as cash management and treasury experience in the cross-border payments industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Process settlements with attention to detail and ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Develop and execute FX/cryptocurrency trade recommendations to optimize liquidity, costs, and exposures
  • Analyze and report FX/cryptocurrency trading and funding activities against targets
  • Establish and improve operational policies, financial controls, and internal controls throughout the entire settlement process
  • Identify and recommend new technologies, enhancements, and improvements to the settlement process
  • Own the daily forecasting process for FX/cryptocurrency receipts and funding needs
  • Monitor financial institution and cryptocurrency exchange partners, track key metrics, and report on network performance
  • Monitor and report on FX/cryptocurrency rates, conversions, and execute exchange transactions as needed
  • Assist with various key cross-functional activities including but not limited to, handling client inquiries, reporting progress to project stakeholders, monitoring cryptocurrency volatility
Requirements:
  • 3+ years in Treasury role in the cross-border payments/cryptocurrency industry, a must
  • Deep knowledge of crypto, crypto-exchanges, regulatory compliance is strongly preferred
  • Experience with FX rates and cryptocurrency exchange rates
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects from inception to completion
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and integrity
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify network needs and provide effective solutions
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced, team- oriented environment.
  • Willing to work Asia Pacific hours

Salary Range:

60 to 80k USD range (inclusive of options-stock, cpf, etc)

Role Summary:

We are searching for a VP Of Operations who will help bring our company to the next level. You will lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. The candidate must have extensive experience within the cross-border payments and fintech industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with CEO in the development of company performance goals and long-term operational plans
  • Synthesize information from internal and external sources and functional groups, filter ideas and translate into functional plans for the company; collate feedback across the voice of the customer and relevant industry trends to support and inform time-bound action-planning
  • Seamlessly coordinate across departmental leadership to identify business development opportunities and market challenges in bringing product to market
  • Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting and operations planning
  • Enhance, and optimize operational roadmaps, benchmarks, strategies and procedures while monitoring key performance indicators to meet and exceed established targets
  • Ensure compliance with local and international business regulations, and take appropriate action when necessary

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working in cross-border payments at a licensed financial institution including business and consumer transactions, across physical and digital channels, and with exposure to crypto currency exchanges highly preferred
  • Proven track record of success launching and rapidly scaling new products and new markets in at least 3 regions; experience working with regulators is optimal
  • Preference for operations management experience in an early stage (Series A/B) company
  • Proven ability to provide clear purpose, direction, and motivation translating into material, quantifiable results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to unify team efforts while collaborating across functional departments at all levels
  • 10+ years with MBA or 15+ years experience of equivalent relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years in leadership and/or senior management roles
  • Education: Business Administration or related field (e.g. Finance, Management Information Systems, Operations Management Systems, etc.); MBA preferred.

  • Remote with a requirement to support a global team GMT-5 to GMT+8 (Eastern Time Zone North America – or Western Europe preferred)

Salary Range:

Competitive total compensation package, which includes a base salary and short- term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
